Kenya has a tiny wine industry shaped by its equatorial climate and high-altitude potential. A few experimental vineyards exist in the Rift Valley and around Nairobi, where cooler temperatures at elevation offer some relief from the tropical heat.

Commercial wine production remains minimal, and most grapes are grown for table fruit or juice. Kenya's place on the global wine map is still a curiosity, but its unique conditions continue to attract the attention of adventurous agricultural entrepreneurs.
