Bolivia is home to some of the highest commercial vineyards in the world, with plantings in the Tarija Valley reaching nearly two thousand meters above sea level. This extreme altitude brings intense ultraviolet light, cool nights, and a dramatic Andean backdrop that shapes every bottle.

Torrontés is the star white, perfumed and crisp, while Tannat and Cabernet Sauvignon provide structure for the reds. The industry is small but growing fast, led by a handful of ambitious producers who see Bolivia's sky-high terroir as a genuine frontier for fine wine.
