About the Winery

Beijo is produced by John Paul da Silva near the sea in Canical on Madeira Island, with vineyards planted in 2005. The winery produces approximately 3,500 bottles of rosé and 3,500 bottles of red wine annually from Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The Beijo red wine placed first for three consecutive years at the local wine competition after its first vintage in 2009, and the proprietor offers vineyard tours and tasting experiences by appointment.
