About the Winery

Azores Wine Company is located on Pico Island in the Azores, in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage vineyard landscape, and was co-founded by winemaker Antonio Macanita and Paulo Machado in 2013. The winery produces exceptional white wines from indigenous varieties including Arinto dos Acores, Terrantez do Pico, and Verdelho, with a focus on expressing the volcanic terroir and Atlantic maritime influence. The property features a unique winery building that includes tasting rooms, a restaurant, and serviced apartments, offering visitors an immersive wine tourism experience with tastings ranging from 30 to 75 euros.
