About the Winery

Casa Cadaval is located 80 kilometers north of Lisbon on the left bank of the Tejo River and has belonged to the Álvares Pereira de Melo family since 1648. The estate encompasses 5,000 hectares with 45 hectares of vineyards planted with red varieties including Trincadeira Preta, Touriga Nacional, and Alicante Bouschet, and white varieties such as Arinto, Verdelho, and Fernão Pires. The property features a wine shop with tasting room and is integrated into the Tejo Wine Route, offering visits and tastings.
