About the Winery

Adega Cooperativa do Cartaxo was founded in 1954 in the Tejo wine region and now encompasses 800 hectares with over 200 grower members. The cooperative produces ten million liters of wine annually, specializing in red wines from indigenous varieties like Castelão, Trincadeira, and Touriga Nacional, alongside international grapes. The winery has invested 16 million euros in modernizing its facilities and offers guided tours and tastings by appointment.
