About the Winery

Herdade da Comporta is one of Portugal's largest agricultural estates, covering more than 12,500 hectares on the Alentejo coast within the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve. The estate's winery was established in a restored 1930s building, with 35 hectares of vineyards planted in sandy soils that produce distinctive white, rosé, and red wines with freshness and complexity influenced by the nearby Atlantic. Visitors can enjoy guided tours of the winery followed by personalized tastings of wines from their Superior level brand, paired with regional products.
