About the Winery

Adega Cooperativa de Palmela was established in 1955 in the Península de Setúbal and has grown from 50 members to over 300 members with more than 1,000 hectares of vineyards. The cooperative is one of the main centers of agricultural development in Palmela, producing red, white, rosé, sparkling, sweet, and fortified wines primarily from Castelão and Moscatel de Setúbal varieties. The winery offers guided tours and tastings by appointment, showcasing the winemaking process from grape reception to barrel aging.
