Herdade do Sobroso is a family-owned estate spanning 1,600 hectares in Vidigueira, Alentejo, surrounded by the Mendro mountain range, the Guadiana River, and expansive plains. The estate grows red varieties including Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Touriga Nacional, and Trincadeira, alongside white varieties such as Antão Vaz, Arinto, Alvarinho, Verdelho, and Perrum. The property features a wine tourism program including guided vineyard tours, wine tastings, and a farm-to-table restaurant, and has been recognized by Forbes as one of the world's top winery destinations.
