About the Winery

Herdade Papa Leite is located in Alter do Chao, in the northern Alentejo wine region, with origins dating back to the 18th century. The 320-hectare estate produces wine, olive oil, and raises Aberdeen-Angus cattle, with vineyards planted on soils with excellent solar exposure. The winery focuses on producing distinctive wines from varieties including Viognier, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot.
