About the Winery
Adega Mayor is a Portuguese winery located in Campo Maior, in the Alto Alentejo sub-region, established as a project by Rui Nabeiro, founder of the Nabeiro Group. The modern winery building was inaugurated in 2007 and designed by renowned Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza Vieira. The winery produces red, white, and sparkling wines from vineyards across Herdade das Argamassas and other estates, and has earned numerous national and international accolades including recognition from Decanter and Wine Enthusiast.
