About the Winery
Sovibor, Sociedade de Vinhos de Borba, was founded in 1968 from the merger of two small experienced wine producers in the Borba sub-region of Alentejo. The cooperative manages 200 hectares of vineyards planted with Castelao, Trincadeira, Aragonez, and Alicante Bouschet for reds, and Roupeiro, Rabo de Ovelha, and Tamarez for whites. Wines are marketed under labels including Sovibor, Adega do Passo, Valflor, and Mirabom.
