About the Winery

Quinta das Cerejeiras is one of three estates operated by Companhia Agricola do Sanguinhal, founded in 1926 by Abel Pereira da Fonseca in the Bombarral area of the Lisboa wine region. Located just 40 minutes from Lisbon, the winery produces DOC Obidos wines from grape varieties including Arinto, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Castelao, and Touriga Nacional. The estate features lush vineyards and Rocha pear orchards, and its century-old Grande Reserva label is celebrated as one of Portugal's most distinguished wine brands.
