About the Winery
Quinta do Piloto is a family-owned winery in Palmela, in the Setubal Peninsula wine region, with a history spanning four generations of the Cardoso family since 1900. The winery manages 500 acres of vineyards and produces red, white, rose, sparkling, and fortified wines from grape varieties including Castelao, Touriga Nacional, Moscatel de Setubal, and Moscatel Roxo. The estate offers guided tours of its gravity-flow winery with tastings, including visits to see their rare concrete auto-fermentors and aging cellars.
