Mare et Corvus is a small family winery located in Colares, in the Lisboa wine region, just 1 mile from Cape Roca on the Atlantic coast. The winery was founded in 2011 and produces wines from vineyards growing on sandy soils near the westernmost point of continental Europe, using grape varieties including Fernao Pires, Malvasia, and Chardonnay. The wines are known for their crisp, salty character influenced by the Atlantic winds and salty mists. The winery offers guided tours and tastings in an intimate family atmosphere, welcoming visitors by appointment.
