About the Winery
Casal Sta. Maria is located in Colares, on the slopes of Serra de Sintra, 2 km from Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. The vineyards were planted in 2006 by Baron Bodo von Bremmer at 96 years old on sandy loam soils with granite outcrops, producing wines from Malvasia de Colares, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Touriga Nacional and Pinot Noir. The estate offers guided tours and tastings Monday to Saturday by appointment, featuring six wines paired with bread and dried fruits.
