About the Winery

Quinta da Corrieira is the only private producer of Vinho de Carcavelos, a rare historic fortified wine, located in Barcarena just 10 km from Lisbon. Founded in the late 1970s and managed by the Lewerentz family, the estate spans less than 5 hectares and in 2024 launched the first Carcavelos from a private producer in over 20 years, aged 12 years in French oak. The estate offers guided vineyard and winery tours with tastings by appointment.
