About the Winery
Adega Cooperativa de Arruda dos Vinhos was founded in 1954 by 25 local farmers and is one of the largest producers in the Lisboa wine region, with capacity for 25 million liters. The cooperative produces red, white, rosé, sparkling and fortified wines under brands including Arruda DOC, Lote 44, Comenda de Santiago and D. Elvira. The winery offers guided tours and tastings Monday to Saturday, showcasing traditional winemaking combined with modern technology.
