About the Winery
Quinta de Chocapalha is a family estate in Aldeia Galega, Alenquer, mentioned since the 16th century for its excellent vineyards, located just 45 km from Lisbon. The Tavares da Silva family replanted 45 hectares of vineyards and began bottling under the Chocapalha label in 2000, producing wines from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Syrah, Arinto and Chardonnay. The estate offers private guided visits with wine tastings paired with cheese and charcuterie.
