About the Winery

Quinta Madre de Água is a family-owned winery and rural hotel in Gouveia, near Vinhó village, at the foot of the Serra da Estrela mountains in the Dão region. Founded in 2007, the estate spans 30 hectares with vineyards at 600 meters altitude, producing wines from Touriga Nacional, Encruzado, Alfrocheiro, Jaen and Syrah. The property offers a boutique hotel, restaurant, wine cellar, riding arena with Lusitano horses and comprehensive wine tourism experiences.
