About the Winery

Taboadella is a historic wine estate in Silvã de Cima, Dão, with records dating back to 1255 and archaeological evidence of Roman winemaking, featuring 42 hectares of vineyards at 400 to 530 meters altitude. The Amorim family estate, with a modern winery designed by architect Carlos Castanheira, produces wines from Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro, Encruzado and Malvasia. The Wine House is open Tuesday to Sunday for visits, tastings and experiences.
