About the Winery

Soito Wines is a family project founded in 2013 at Quinta do Soito in Tibalde, near Mangualde, in the Dão region, by teachers José Carlos Soares and Sandra Soares. The estate vineyards lie at 400 to 600 meters altitude on granite and schist soils, producing wines from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro, Jaen and Encruzado that have won multiple international awards. The winery welcomes visitors by appointment for tastings and tours of the property.
