About the Winery

Quinta dos Roques is a pioneering family estate in Abrunhosa do Mato, between Mangualde and Nelas in Dão DOC, with roots dating to the 19th century and 40 hectares of vineyards on granite soils. The estate champions indigenous varieties including Touriga Nacional, Encruzado, Alfrocheiro and Jaen, and was the first Dão estate to bottle single-varietal Encruzado in 1998. The winery offers visits Monday to Friday by appointment, with tastings and meals available.
