About the Winery
Quinta do Carvalhão Torto is located in Nelas, the geographic center of the Dão Wine Region, with vineyards at 450 meters altitude on granitic quartzite soils. The estate produces classic Dão wines from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Jaen, Alfrocheiro and Encruzado, aged without oak intervention to preserve elegance and freshness. The winery is open Monday to Friday by appointment for visits.
