About the Winery

M.O.B. is a collaborative wine project in the Serra da Estrela district of eastern Dão, named for the three talented Portuguese winemakers behind it: Jorge Moreira of Quinta de Poeira, Francisco Olazabal of Quinta do Vale Meão, and Jorge Serôdio Borges of Wine & Soul. The project's flagship vineyard, Quinta do Corujão, sits at an altitude of 1,640 feet beside Portugal's highest mountain range on poor granitic soils that encourage deep root systems, cultivating indigenous Dão varieties including Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Jaen, and Encruzado. M.O.B. aims to craft wines that are intense yet elegant in a style emblematic of the Dão, highlighting acidity, minerality, and finesse rather than mimicking the bolder Douro style, using organic approaches in the vineyard.
