About the Winery

Caves Porto Vasconcellos is a distinguished artisan Port house founded in 1879 by Jose Teixeira Pinto Vasconcellos in Vila Nova de Gaia, acquired by Christie's Port Wine Producer and Shipper in 2011. The house crafts exceptional aged Tawny Ports ranging from 10 to over 80 years old, as well as Vintage Ports and White Ports from indigenous varieties grown at its Quinta Dona Mafalda vineyard. Visitors can enjoy intimate tastings of rare aged Ports in an elegant atmosphere at their cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.
