About the Winery

Caves Ferreira is one of Portugal's most historic and beautiful Port cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, with a history spanning over 250 years closely tied to Dona Antonia Adelaide Ferreira, the legendary figure of Port wine. The cellars house hundreds of oak casks and vats where Ferreira Port has aged since the 18th century, including the Vintage Room dedicated to Ferreira Vintage Ports since 1815. Visitors can tour the historic facilities including the Ferreira Museum and Tile Room, followed by tastings of White, Ruby, and Tawny Ports.
