About the Winery
Costa Boal Family Estates is a family-owned winery founded in 2009 by António and Raquel Boal, with winegrowing traditions dating back to 1857 in the village of Cabeda in the Douro UNESCO World Heritage area. The estate produces wines across three regions including the Douro, Tras-os-Montes, and Alentejo, with Port wines, Douro DOC reds and roses, and Tras-os-Montes wines from vineyards at various altitudes and soil types. Visitors can enjoy immersive experiences including estate tours, grape harvesting participation, and tastings with panoramic views.
