About the Winery

Quinta de la Rosa is a family-owned estate in the Alto Douro near Pinhão, founded in 1906 and now operated by the Bergqvist family, with vineyards stretching from the banks of the Douro River up 450 meters through 11 distinct microclimates. The estate is one of the few single quintas that produces both Port and Douro DOC wines entirely on-site, rather than shipping to Vila Nova de Gaia. Visitors can enjoy guided tours of the winery and aging cellars, wine tastings paired with regional cuisine at the estate restaurant, and accommodation with stunning river views.
