About the Winery
Quinta dos Murças dates back to 1714 and is located on the right bank of the Douro River between Régua and Pinhão in the Cima Corgo sub-region. The estate spans 155 hectares with 48 hectares of vineyards, and was the birthplace of the first vertical vineyard in the Douro in 1947. Since 2017, the estate has been part of the Esporão group and practices certified organic farming.
