About the Winery
Quinta do Portal is a family-owned winery in the Douro Cima Corgo sub-region, located in the Pinhão River valley. The family has been making Port wines since 1881, and from 1991 they focused on producing both table wines and Ports. The estate has over 100 hectares across five properties at altitudes ranging from 190 to 600 meters, with consulting winemaker Pascal Chatonnet.
