About the Winery
Quinta da Pedra Alta is a winery located in Soutelinho, Favaios, near Alijó, in the Douro Cima Corgo sub-region. The estate holds the distinction of being the only vineyard in the Douro with three original granite markers from the 1761 demarcation. Winemakers Matt Gant and João Pires craft white, red, and Port wines from 35 hectares of terraced vineyards on schist soils.
