About the Winery

Quinta Vale Dona Maria is located in the Cima Corgo sub-region, overlooking the valley of the River Torto. The estate was first mentioned in records in 1868 and was acquired by Cristiano van Zeller in 1996. The property specializes in DOC Douro still wines and is known for preserving old vineyards, some over 80 years old, with hand-harvested grapes trodden in traditional granite lagares.
