About the Winery

Quinta da Raza is a family-run winery in the Basto subregion of Vinho Verde with a heritage spanning over four centuries, now led by Diogo Teixeira Coelho as the fifth-generation winemaker. The estate encompasses nearly 50 hectares of vineyards on granite-rich soils mixed with clay and schist at 250 meters altitude, with a special focus on the rare Azal grape variety alongside Arinto, Alvarinho, and Vinhão.
