About the Winery

Casa das Hortas is a family-owned producer founded in 1995 by the Azeredo family in Baião, a region between the mountains of northern Portugal and the Douro River. Now in its third generation, the winery produces wines from both the Douro and Vinho Verde regions, including their Encostas de Baião Vinho Verde made from Avesso, Arinto, and Fernão Pires grapes.
