Adega Cooperativa de Amarante, also known as CAVAGRI, was founded on October 18, 1958, and is the cooperative association of Vinho Verde winegrowers from the Amarante municipality. The cooperative produces Vinho Verde wines from grapes sourced across the Amarante subregion, an area known for its granitic soils and wines with vibrant acidity and freshness.
