About the Winery
Quinta do Feital was established in 1996 by Spanish winemaker Marcial Dorado, who sought out old Alvarinho vines just across the Minho River in Portugal. Located in Paderne near Monção, the winery manages 70-year-old vines, many ungrafted, using organic practices and cutting-edge winemaking to produce age-worthy Alvarinho wines of exceptional quality and minerality.
