About the Winery

Quinta da Lixa was established in 1986 by the Meireles family in the town of Vila da Lixa, Felgueiras, in the Vinho Verde region. What began as a small firm selling wines in bulk has grown into a major producer farming 105 hectares, with a modern winery and bottling line producing 4.2 million bottles annually, exported to 34 countries with 52 percent going to foreign markets.
