About the Winery
Quinta da Calçada was founded in 1917 by António do Lago Cerqueira in Amarante, in the heart of the Vinho Verde region, making it one of the oldest producers in the area. The estate features a historic 16th-century manor house that is now a Relais & Châteaux boutique hotel, with over 50 hectares of vineyards including a 0.5-hectare plot certified as the oldest in the Vinho Verde region.
