About the Winery
Adega Cooperativa de Guimarães was founded in 1962 by 82 local growers in Fermentões, Guimarães, within the Alto Ave subregion of Vinho Verde. The cooperative produces authentic Vinho Verde wines from traditional Portuguese grape varieties including Loureiro, Trajadura, Arinto, Vinhão, and Espadeiro, with a style defined by freshness, balance, and aromatic purity.
