About the Winery
Casa Lata is a family-run agroturismo and winery located on a 3.6-hectare property in Amares, in the heart of the Vinho Verde region between Braga and Peneda-Gerês National Park. The estate was once a traditional Minho farmhouse dedicated to agriculture, livestock, and winemaking, and is now led by José Carlos Costa and his daughter Margarida. They produce Terras de Amares wines from indigenous grape varieties including Loureiro, Trajadura, Arinto, Fernão Pires, Vinhão, and Padeiro de Basto.
