About the Winery
Zakin Family Estate is a small, family-owned producer of estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style red wines founded in 2004 by Jan and Jon Zakin. Their 150-acre estate on Howell Mountain has approximately 4 acres planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Winemaker Philippe Melka crafts small quantities of distinctive wines.
