About the Winery

Y Knot Vineyard is a family-owned and operated vineyard in Seagraves on the Texas High Plains, established in 2014 by Henry and Marie Froese. They have 16 acres of certified organic grapes growing Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Graciano, Petit Verdot, and Petite Sirah. They started growing organically in 2019 and were certified organic in 2022. Their grapes have been sold to Bending Branch Winery, Cicada Cellars, Lucky Vines Vineyard & Winery, Whitley Vineyards, and Wild Stallion Vineyards. Y Knot Vineyard produced the first official Texas Ice Wine from their frozen Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. They opened their tasting room in 2024.
