About the Winery
William Chris Vineyards was founded in 2008 by William "Bill" Blackmon and Chris Brundrett in the historic town of Hye, Texas. Recognized among the world's best wineries (No.31 The World's 50 Best Vineyards 2025). Uses Old-World winemaking techniques with 100% Texas grown grapes. Minimal intervention approach. The main tasting room was built in 2012 from repurposed homestead materials. Features estate vineyards, guided tastings, food pairings, and live music.

Reservations required for tastings. Offers guided tastings, reserve wines, and elevated food pairings including the Vineyard Table Experience. Hours: Mon-Wed 11am-5pm, Thu-Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 11am-5pm. Hye Society Wine Club available.
