About the Winery
Family-owned winery located in the ghost town of Trinidad between Quincy and Wenatchee, overlooking the Columbia River. Founded in 1986 by Cameron and Phyllis Fries. Cameron studied winemaking in Switzerland. Mariposa Vineyard was first planted in 1991. Known for Bordeaux varieties and Syrah with Central European winemaking influence. Tasting room is inside the winemaking facility overlooking the vineyard and Columbia River Gorge.
