About the Winery
Located on a 300-acre farm on the Scuppernong River in Tyrrell County, near Columbia, NC. Founded by Jack and Grace in 2002, the winery honors NC famous muscadine/scuppernong grape. The scuppernong was the first cultivar of muscadine and was named after the area of Tyrrell County where it was first recorded in the 18th century. Sir Walter Raleigh expedition discovered muscadine grapes in this area in 1654. Opened in July 2008.
