About the Winery

Viandel Vineyard was formerly The Apple House orchard and local market. Owners Jon and Cathy Smith began restoration with a vision to create a sophisticated winery, comfortable farmhouse tasting room, and efficient office space. Named in honor of Viandel 'Spider' Smith, Jon's father, born August 24, 1910 in Eminence, Missouri, a pioneer in ecologically friendly tree farming. Their philosophy is to find a balance between vineyard production and environmental impact while producing premium contemporary wines. Located in Missouri's pristine Ozark Mountain woodlands.
