About the Winery
Vineyard and winery located in a remote corner of Scotland Neck, NC on 16 acres of fertile Halifax County soil. The vineyard grows Muscadine grape plants of four varieties: Magnolias, Triumphs, Nobles, and Carlos. Owner and winemaker Alex McLennan trained at a technical school in Dobson. The winery produces both white and red wines aimed at those who prefer drier, sharper wines. Also produces blends. The property includes a tasting room and winery building with stainless steel tanks.
