Vance Vineyards & Winery
About the Winery
Vance Vineyards and Winery is a family-owned business founded by Robin Vance in 2005 on the historic 'Old Schulte Farm' (locally known as Schulte Lane). In the early 1800s, German immigrants including Frederick Schulte farmed this land and built a three-story concrete silo which still stands as a clock tower. Winemaker Roy Paris has been producing fine wines for more than 30 years. The tasting room is done in German architectural style. The property features a lake, historic silo clock tower, and 14 acres of vineyards growing Norton, Catawba, Chardonnay, Chardonel, Vignoles, Traminette, Chambourcin, and Riesling. Currently open to private parties only.
