About the Winery
Founded in 2015 by a group of friends, Valley Road Vineyards is located on Virginia Route 151 at the head of the Rockfish Valley in Afton, just 15 minutes west of Charlottesville. Now has 17 acres under vine across three vineyards in the Monticello AVA. Winner of the 2026 Virginia Governor's Cup. Offers a farm-chic tasting room with stunning Blue Ridge Mountain views.

Open 7 days a week. Mon-Thu 12-5:30pm, Fri 12-7pm (Happy Hour 3:30-5pm), Sat 10:30am-7pm, Sun 10:30am-5:30pm. Tastings available in the farm-chic tasting room, on the patio, pavilion, or in The Grove.
